Answer the Questions Your Clients Are Asking

Content for the Day

Action for the Day

Write a blog post that answers a clients question.

“Answer the questions your clients are asking.” It was an off-hand statement Marcus Sheridan gave to tell how he helped turn a local Virgina pool company around. (I might be paraphrasing his statement, but I’m watching a show with my wife and this is the only window for writing I have. It would be bad form to pause the show and find the exact words in the podcast.)

Truth told, I really loved the Google Analytics podcast with Andy Crestodina. But the action items there will take a deeper dive. I did update my Google Analytics to add a conversion goal (the thank you page when someone signs up for the newsletter for my Nonprofit Insurance Blog).

Answering a Client Question – Because It Wasn’t the First Time It Was Asked (and won’t be the last)

A client today asked how an employee is covered when he or she drives his or her own car on behalf of a corporation.

I answered the question on the phone. Then I realized it’s a question I get on occasion and not a whole bunch of people really know the answer. So today, I wrote “How to Cover Volunteers or Employees When They Drive Their Own Cars on Behalf of Your Nonprofit.”

I’m thinking my next action item should be around writing catchier headlines, but we all know that people type questions into the Google search bar, so perhaps this post will help someone someday (I know plenty of people find my blog with searches around volunteers and hired and nonowned auto liability).

Until tomorrow… listening, reading, and applying my way to greater success.
