Create an Email Drip Campaign from Client Questions

Today’s action item is very similar to yesterday’s item: To write a blog post that answered a client question.

Today’s Action Item

Write 10 questions I get asked the most from clients.

Write 10 questions that my clients should ask but often don’t.

The Resources

It was a big day on the road today. I listened to 4 1/2 podcasts, including…

1. Proof of Life – College Wesleyan Church, Rev. Steven DeNeff

The following Podcasts, are all from the wonderful Amy Porterfield podcast “Online Marketing Made Easy.” If you are in sales or marketing, she is one of the best to listen to (whether your version of sales and marketing is online or not). She’s a clear teacher and extremely engaging.

2. #032: Ask Amy: “What’s new with the Facebook Page Timeline layout?”

3. #033: How to Write Copy that Sells with Ray Edwards – Today’s project is from the Ray Edwards interview.

4. #034: Ask Amy: How to Hyper-Target Your Facebook Ads

5. #035: How to Hire Your First Project Manager with Laura Roeder

How I Tackled Today’s Action Item

Ice cream and my wife are waiting, so I’m going to get straight to the point.

As soon as I came up for breath from work and hanging with the family and putting the kids to bed, I wrote out 20 questions at the behest of Ray Edwards and Amy Porterfield in episode #30. It’s a great foundation for a blog or an automated email campaign.

I wrote 10 questions that I get asked often by clients.

I wrote 1o questions that I wish clients asked often (because they should).

My business is insurance for nonprofit and human service organizations. I get PLENTY of questions. Also, I do wish that some of my clients were a bit more concerned about their risk management (not just insurance, but actual wise risk management).

While I’ve been blogging consistently, I’ve not developed a high quality auto-responder sequence for my email subscribers. This list of 20 questions that I came up with will be a perfect start. I’ve definitely answered some of the questions already, but now i’m armed with a list I can start checking off.

It should be a great help to keep me full of ideas that will answer some of the most pressing questions that nonprofit leaders have about insurance.

What a great way (as Mr. Ray Edwards suggests) to start a drip campaign for email subscribers.

Day 3 is done!

Today’s response to the Dan Miller challenge is in the books. I look forward to what tomorrow brings.

This will be a grueling yet rewarding 6 months, no doubt.
